EASTER TERROR

Let's put together a collection of comics and illustrations for adult readers!

We'll prove that comics can do more then sell crap to children or being cheap fodder for Hollywood! So if you love horror comics and are as sick of them being put on a short leash as I am, this is your calling!

The Theme is „Easter Terror“, but you dont have to take it literally. Your comic should be at least loosely based on the holiday like a grim story about the kid's pet-bunny instead the easter-bunny or something about any kind of egg instead of painted chicken eggs.

Everyone gets a PDF version of the whole book so you can either sell it digitally or print it out for cons or your shop.

This project is not about money. It's about the fun of being a nasty, terrifying artist who wants to terrorise the minds of innocent comic readers with stuff the censors have been protecting them from so far. >:)

My part in the whole will be to draw my character, ZUSHIE, introducing each of your stories in a creepy humorous tone.

Submissions can be both in color or black/white. But you may want to stick to black/white since you cant know how the others will print the book. Your works should be 300 dpi, minimum size of A5 and maximum size of A4. English language. Get as sick as you want! Everything goes except the two big no-nos: Child Porn and glorifying Fascism!

There are 2 deadlines:

The first deadline is to give me all of the important info, so I have enough time to plan the book and to come up with intros that do every one of you justice. The 2nd deadline will be the final one to send in your comic.

Deadline No 1:

November 1st

Send your Name, your email address, a short description about your comic so I can start preparing (no big deal if something changes later while making it), and for the book a short introduction about yourself & where to find you online (and if you want a photo or self portrait for your description).

Deadline No 2:

January 1s

Send the finished comic.

2nd phase of Zushies

We’re now in the 2nd phase of Zushies EASTER TERROR anthology! That means while Im preparing my part there is still plenty of time left for you to submit horrendous easterly illustrations (or mini comics). This is your chance to go artisticly apeshit without worring about getting cencorced because going as far as you want is the goal of this zine!
